San Francisco Cont.
We’re back! Part II of our San Francisco podcast focuses on our favorite facts, food, and figures across the city. We discuss tacos, vintage clothing stores, and even the coffee shop where Kileen is no longer welcome!

San Francisco
We literally could not fit all our thoughts about San Francisco into one episode - so we’re doing two! First, yes there is a Uniqlo vending machine in SFO and yes, we get into why that’s actually a life saver for visitors. Let’s dig into the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to Fog City.

Our Quaranteam
We’re still quarantining here in DC so we thought we’d do our own version of the “who would you quarantine with” game. Feel free to play along at home with your beverage of choice!

Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz has established itself as a beach resort community with a hippy vibe and extremely liberal-leaning society - so naturally we had to check it out! In this episode, we discuss all the best places to grab your nitro cold brew, baja taco, and whiskey flight - all with a view!

Monterey
Monterey is a city located in Monterey County on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on California’s Central Coast. Founded on June 3, 1770, it was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. During this period, Monterey hosted California’s first theater, public building, public library, publicly funded school, printing press, and newspaper. Given its proximity to Big Sur and Carmel, there is a lot to like about this coastal city and we’ll take you through it!

Big Sur
In the 1950s and ’60s, Big Sur became a retreat for artists and writers, including Carolyn Mary Kleefeld, Rita Hayworth, and Henry Miller. Today Big Sur attracts self-proclaimed artists, new-age mystics, latter-day hippies and city slickers seeking to unplug and reflect more deeply on this emerald-green edge of the continent. Novelist Herbert Gold described it as “one of the grand American retreats for those who nourish themselves with wilderness”.

Carmel by the Sea
Carmel-by-the-Sea is a small, artisan community located a few hours down the coast from San Francisco. It’s the rare mix between rocky coastline, California beaches, and redwood forest. It is perfectly placed a quick 120 miles from the Bay Area, a scenic 330 miles from Los Angeles. It’s long been a favorite getaway for us around the holidays. We’ll talk secret alley coffee spots, overrated pizza places, and fairytale wineries.

Travel Gear
The holiday season is here and that means travel. Here to help you prep is our special travel gear edition of the wandermore podcast! From suitcases to snacks, we’ve added all the links below!

Saint Michaels
St. Michaels is an interesting mix between tourist/second home location given its access to the Chesapeake Bay and proximity to Baltimore and D.C. It is a close-knit community with just over 1,000 year round residents and with a rich history.
